Whats a good reliable pest control company for mice?

I think I have a mouse or maybe a rat living in my house, noticed a few days ago that a bag of flour seemed to be torn and some pellets by it, then a few days later, heard something actually rummaging inside my trashcan under the sink. Now for the past few days, I hear a noise in my bedroom and it is freaking me out, theres no food in my room but looking online it states that rodents like to sleep up in bedframes and thats where the sound seems like its coming from, it sounds as if something is gnawing on wood. I have some bait but it states it takes a few days since rodents are wary of new things and I am scared of my dog getting into it as she eats everything she can and I have a small house and the kitchen is right next to the hallway that leads to the bedroom so not sure if I can rope her off to one side of the house. I dont want to try the glue thing and make it suffer and other poisons due to it may run off and die somewhere and I could smell it and not find it. So I want a good reputable company. I dont trust terminex since they had to refund me for a bee problem a few months ago that they guaranteed would go away, yet they are still there. But if anyone has any good ideas or knows of a proven company that isnt a paid testimonial, I would appreciate that. thanks
