Getting fish out of ornament...?

catfish are really stubern fish so what i did when he didn't come out of an ornament was poke him with something or put the ornament under the filter waterfall if he still didn't want to get out of their i took the ornament out of the aquarium for about 2 seconds but the ornament wast above the tank so if he would jump he would jump in the water and once those 2 second are up quickly put him back in.i fell your pain but if none of that works just wait him out.hope i helped.
