Need help with Electoral College essay.?

In the year 2000 Al Gore won the popular vote but lost the election. True The reason why is the Electoral College. The reason for the Electoral College is that if we went by just the popular vote is that the ones that are running for President will only go to the most populated areas which are San Diego, L.A., San Fransisco, New York City, Chicago, Houston, and Miami. They will never show up anywhere else because they know that they would not need them come election time. If Al gore would have won the election back then. where would we be? How many more attacks would we have had since 9/11/2001? Al Gore would have ran to the nearest cave and crawled in it. and the same way with Katrina. Nothing would have been done. True Al Gore won the popular vote but George W. Bush was the right man for the Job. If the 2000 election was the other way around the Democrats would have been singing it's praises.

Halloween Trick-or-Treaters?

I like a little candy, not much. I gave out the single serve microwave popcorn last year and heard a lot of great comments from the parents. They are healthier and is high in fiber. I wanted to give out those little play-dohs containers this year but with all the kids that come by me, over 300, it would be too expensive. Soo, I'm giving out the orted candies. Mixture of everything.

Wave of injuries for Sri Lanka.. What's going on all of a sudden?

Its possible. The youngsters playing for Sri Lanka look impressive and its great that they are getting to have a go at this stage. The selectors will be closely watching. Having said that, India have a good mix of youth and experience and would want this current side to get into top gear and perform in 2011. Their current limited overs form is worrying to say the least.
