Is this a good idea for a Story?

I'v been thinking on writing another story and i thought of an idea but i dont know if its good or not. the story would be on a group of 4 friends who each have an element; Earth, Fire, water, and wind.theyll find out about other powers they never knew existed like maybe Electricity? or something like that. i'd like some ideas on the plot though and maybe ideas for additional powers, and names for the characters. I need second opinions! Thanks :)
